Some projects require a whole new garden, others just a single border, an awkward corner, or a space that has never quite worked. The studio offers each as a complete service.
First Meeting
A site visit and a conversation about what you want, what the garden is already doing, and what it could become. Nothing is decided at this stage. It is the foundation everything else is built on.
Concept Stage
The first design response to the site and the brief. Planting philosophy, material palette, the underlying logic of the space, presented as a concept document to react to, agree with, or push back on. The aim is a clear shared direction before anything is drawn in detail.
Master Plans
The complete design document. Every plant, every material, every level of detail a contractor needs, and everything you need to understand what the garden will become across seasons and years.
Build
We work with trusted local contractors and can be present throughout the build, from site visits to close oversight, ensuring the design intent carries through to the finished garden.
Aftercare
A garden in its first year is not the garden it will become. Aftercare visits in the season following build allow for early adjustments, plant establishment checks, and questions as they arise. The best gardens are tended as well as designed.
